Necklaces

This is the installation in the window of TOKYO GINZA SHISEIDO BUILDING. In the window of 2 m in width, 1.5 m in depth and 5 m in height, 125 large necklaces made of small glass beads with a diameter of 1.5 mm are hung while varying the length and position equally to create the three-dimensional surface. The same thing reversed back and forth is hanged in each window which faces Chuo Street and Hanatsubaki Street. This is the experiment to know what will be born if decoration is made by decoration.

首飾り

銀座資生堂ビルのウィンドーでのインスタレーションである。幅2m、奥行1.5m、高さ5mのウィンドーに、直径1.5mmの小さなビーズでつくった125本の大きなネックレスを長さと位置を均等に変化させながら吊ることで3次曲面をつくっている。中央通り、花椿通りに各ひとつずつあるウィンドーに、同じものを前後逆転させて吊っている。装飾で装飾をつくると何が出来上がるのかという試みである。
